sending results to email account

how can the result of a quiz be sent into a specified email account. i understand it can be stored into a text file ... in the windows directody... but what next....somebody help...

I haven't used any of these yet (though I think I'm going to give them a try later) so I can't really add anything except to point you in the right direction.
