Hi everyone,

I want to send out an HTML newsletter to members of our organisation's internal address book. For this I am creating an HTML page then using File > Send > Page By Email... to send it from Outlook 2002 (XP) in HTML format. However, some of the recipients only have Outlook 97, which strips out all the HTML and leaves an untidy mess of image links.

Is it possible to use Outlook 2002 to send a plain text version of such emails which gets displayed in older programs like Outlook 97, whilst newer version display the HTML? I believe this is called a mulipart message, but I have no idea how to achieve this.

Thanks in advance.

If you use Netscape (7.2) Mail you will automatically get a question whether you want to send an html and/or text e-mail.
