Sending Outbound SMTP mail through API gateway

Anybody know how to force GroupWise 5.5 to send outgoing SMTP mail to a GW API gateway instead of a GW GWIA. The API gateway is connected to an Exchange 2000 architecture which would then delivery the mail.

We can do this manually by sending a email to api:"user@domain.com" but cannot find a way to do it globally and Novell support is being useless.

Also, if the person you are talking to in Novell Tech Suport can not help you, upgrade the incident you opened. Your paying over 300 bucks just to talk to them, so if the front line engineer can not help you, ask to be transfered to a backline enigneer. The backline engineers are the front line mentors and are the ones those guys go to for questions they can't answer.
