I have a workbook with 80 different sheets in it. How can I select only 5 of the sheets and put them all in one pdf file. If I have "convert entire workbook" selected all sheets are put in the pdf, if I have only the selected sheets, it wants to put only one sheet per file.

Ultimately I need to end up with 20 different PDF files, I would also like to know if I can create some kind of a script or macro to go through and select only the sheets specified and create all the pdf files at once.

This answer is based on the pages that you need NOT being consecutive. If they are consecutive just create the 80 page pdf and look at Acrobat help for EXTRACT. You can simply make new pdf of the extracted pages.

You can simply "print" the pdf. When you get the print window see if you don't have Page Range. Type in the numbrs you want, separated by commas and make the pdf.

Another way is to make a pdf of the whole thing.

Now create another pdf of basically anything - just one page. Title it somethinglike Master.

Open both pdfs in Acrobat full or pro and and show the Pages navigation pane. Arange them side by side.

Drag the 5 pages you want from the 80 page on to the one page one and Save As. On the one you saved as, delete the first page - the original that has nothing to do with the excel doc.

Now go back to Master, delete the 5 pages you added before - just right clicl on any page in the pages pane and choose Delete. Or shift click all 5 and delete

Now drag the next five pages you need to the pages pane of the pdf with only the first page.. Repeat the save as thing, delete page 1 of the Saved As.

I tried to create a pdf of the entire file, but it comes up and prompts me for a file name for each individual sheet. When I look in print preview, it shows as one document, but when it prints, it wants a new name.

These pdf files need to go out on a daily basis, so I was hoping I could just select the sheets I need and convert them. I have 5 summary tabs and 4-5 data tabs for each pdf file. Each file keep the same summary but have different data sheets. So the sheets are not concecutive.

Yes if you print a pdf you will be prompted for a name.
