Hi All,

we have a MD110 where ISDN BRI is connected to as external lines.
each BRI has its own MSN numbers and each msn number is assigned to one extension as DID (and this works fine using NUTRI command)).
what we need here is when an extension makes external call the number appears to the called party should be the msn number not the pilot number.
example: the pilot number is 2284722, the MSN number for extension 745 is 2284745. outgoing call from 745 always sends the pilot number (2284722).
**the PTT send the last 4 digits.
**digit 10 in ADC parameter for each extension is set to 1.

plz advise

I´m afraid I can not help you. But I´m interesting to see, how it works. So far I thought, that a Point to Multipoint BRI will not work at all with MD110. Can you send here rocap, rodap and nutrp?

hi

When PTT send the last four digits your extension number also must be four digits, in your case the extension number must be 4745

Hi lalrl,

I searched the forum before posting this thread and found some related cases but most of them talks about DID and DOD in PRI and I tried some solutions as RONDI and NUTRI but it doesn't work.

the print out for command is as following:

<NUTRP;
NUMBER CONVERSION DATA
ENTRY CNVTYP NUMTYP ROU TARDST PRE TRC NEWTYP CONT BCAP HLC
4 0 0 1 0

END

<ROCAP:ROU=1;
ROUTE CATEGORY DATA
ROU SEL TRM SERV NODG DIST DISL TRAF SIG BCAP
1 7130000000000010 4 2100000011 0 30 128 00151515 511010000031
001100

END

<RODAP:ROU=1;
ROUTE DATA
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
1 SL60 H'00000204 H'05400000 H'46410000 NO

END

<RODDP:DEST=9;
EXTERNAL DESTINATION ROUTE DATA
DEST DRN ROU CHO CUST ADC TRC SRT NUMACK PRE
9 2 0005000000000250000000000 0 2 0

END

You need to have a number conversion entry for the outbound side....cnvtyp=1 and numtyp= 10 (or 11).

Good luck,

Hi Abukarem
the numbering plan required to be 3 digits, when PTT send 4 digits the first digit is truncated using NUTRI so we haven't problems for incoming calls.

Hi Dave
I try before NUTRI like following:
NUTRI: ENTRY=7, CNVTYP=1,NUMTYP=10,PRE=4;

but it doesn't work, I don't know if something missing or wrong in the above command.

Any Hints???

Well in the first post you said:

>the pilot number is 2284722, the MSN number for extension >745 is 2284745. outgoing call from 745 always sends the >pilot number (2284722).

Where are the rest of the digits built on to the A-number?

From your RODDP, it appears that you send 4 digits out -- however the RODDP shows route 2, but the ROCAP and RODAP shows route 1.

I think you have to be more specific in your outbound conversion.......IOW, if the extension presented is 722, and you need 745, then your NUTRI should have entry=722, trc=3,pre=745. You may also have to play around with the NUMTYP.....logically, it should be 10 or 11, but it may have to be 0 or some other value -- for CNVTYP=1, values 0 thru 7 and 10 & 11 are allowed.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

My basic problem: Why does your PTT send the last 4 digits - and not the last 3 digits or 5 digits or the complete msn? Did you order it or is it always so with every MSN with all customers?

hi
I think you have to arrange with PTT to send all number from MD side if they agree try test the following

RONDI: ROU=1, EXNOPU=0-2284;
