Sending messages

is there way to send the message over a network... control or activex or something where i can input the Ip of a network machine and send a message to that machine

One somewhat low-tech option is shelling out to NET SEND, as in:

What kind of message or process you want run over the net?
A lot of activities can be done this way if you have access to this machine. Can you be more specific?
