Sending message from Filmaker Pro to Email 3

I am building a database that will track students. Is there a way to be able to send an email notice out of FileMaker Pro to another person signaling that there has been an update to that student's profile that needs immediate attention? Thank you.

I'm surprised no-one has responded to you. You can do what you want to do. Check out Help; it's all there. Are you using V5 or V6 because earlier versions are not so hot.

Thank you for responding. Yes, I am surprised it took so long for someone to respond. I truly appreciate it. I did find some material on it. I am building a database where a teacher can get on and input student data and then send an instant notification for an administrator to look at it. We use Groupwise. I will do more research. If I have any other problems I will repost. Again Thank you.
