When trying to use outlook - either on a desktop pc or from an Ipaq - to send to internet email accounts the mailer is returning an "undeliverable - Access denied" Message.
We recently got hit by some kind of virus which appeared to be running its own SMTP client and firing out masses of emails at our email server ip. As we couldn't locate the source of the virus immediately, to get round this we blocked all smtp messages apart from those originating from specific ip addresses which we allowed. This has had the added effect of blocking outlook mails which we want to get through!
Adding the ip addresses of the machines we're trying to get to send smtp mails to "SMTP Relay Acces - Allow exceptions" in netware administrator does not seem to be having any effect.
Hard to fully explain whats occurring without getting too bogged down in details so if anyone thinks they can help but needs more info please post!!
Thanks
Chris
