sending mails thru sql mail

hello,
I am using SQL mail facility(thru xp_sendmail stored proc) to send mails to all the clients in my appication. I am successful in sending mails the message body being in pure text format, now from my application i need to send mails with message body in html format which I am unable to do.


can anybody throw some light on this ?

SQL Mail was designed for simple notification. It doesn't support HTML format. If you want to use HTML format use a different method to send mail. The article at the following link explains one such method.
