Sending Mails from Sybase Adaptive Server 12.0

How to send mails to mail clients using Lotus Notes from Sybase Adaptive Server ?

I will query a table and based on the result I should be able to send out mails to designated users using Lotus Notes Mail at a particular time.

hello,

you can write a cron shell script running isql inside and use xmail to send your output to your users... you would need to get together with your system administrator and/or security administrator to set this up...

There are various xp available with Sybase for mail.

I have personally never used them but you may explore them for your use.

xp_deletemail, xp_findnextmsg, xp_readmail, xp_sendmail, xp_startmail
