Sending mail without the use of outlook

Is there a way in Vb-Script to send an e-mail without the use of Outlook?
I would like to know!

To my knowledge there are two different methods but they're not truly part of vbscript, they're objects that you install then use. One is CDONTS and the other is JMAIL. Do a search on either and you can get the pros and cons on both.
