I just switched from a dial up service to Verizon DSL. Eudora was working fine.
I went to tools, options and entered the Verizon servdrs
for IN mailverizon.net
for OUT smtp.verizon.net

I can receive mail OK, but when I try to send I get the error message "dominant can't send to - the server gives this reason 550 relaying mail to ....

I can send via "Outlook Express", but I prefer Eudora because I have mail boxes and filters set up there, plus I am used to it.

Make sure "secure sockets when sending" is set to Never in the account properties, some ISPs require this setting. If that is not the problem I have known Eudora to get flaky when accounts are edited. Unfortunately you cannot delete your dominant account but you can set up another account using the verizon settings. If this works then disable your dominant account by unchecking the "Check Mail" box in the account properties and just use the new account. All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.
