Sending Mail on Redhat with C

He all. I come in peace from the Windows VB world I work with smtp and cdonts all the time, but recently got hooked on C.

I have been trying to find some kind of doccumentation on how to send an email using C on a red hat machine. It's the only *nix flavor I have worked with so I don't know if it matters.

If you could either shed some light on this, or know of a resource that could, please point me in the right direction.

try using the sendmail process...assuming this exists on redhat. you can pipe your mail content into this process and off u go.
