sending from mailx to outlook/exchange format problems

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to send a tab formated txt file to outlook. This file looks fine in more/cat/vi


once it gets to outlook, the tab formating has gone

How can i get around this???

The following Money Market IAM/PLD deals have been identified to contain different traded currency to the Folder Currency.

What exactly is gone? Are the tab characters completely missing, or are they just displayed as a different width? Is Outlook displaying the email in a fixed width font or not? If you use spaces instead does it look right in Outlook?
