Hello

I am working on an Projekt but now i have a problem! If i write a letter in Microsoft Word, and then i klick on "File" - "Send To" - "E-Mail ...." then i only see the Exchange mail System!! But i like to get this Letter directly to Lotus Notes!!!
No my Question!!! Is it possible to get the letter direct to Lotus Notes?? And where i have to make the Setting who allows this funktion??

Pleas help me... i realy ned your help!

THX!!

PS: I am sorry about my English, but i am from Switzerland!!

It's possible but difficult. That send to functionality is part of the interconnections of microsoft. I don't know of how you can bypass the outlook portion completely but you can set up outlook to send via notes.

Access the help database and go through the steps for setting up notes for mapi compliance.

Access Microsoft mail profiles and create an internet client that uses your notes pop3 and smtp. Set this as the default profile.

I have it working on my system with no problems. I'm using Office 97 with Notes R5.

Launch Notes Mail, click on File (top left hand corner), Preferences then User Preferences. In the section titled Additional Options in the Basics tab, click on the 'Enable MS Office SendTo Notes'.

You may have to restart Notes / your PC in order for it to work but it has done for me.

Good Luck.

If you look in the proprieties of internet explorer and set lotus notes as default mail program yuo can solve some of this problems.

I've got Notes R5 and Office 2000 - found the settings in IE5.5 - will reboot and see if it takes!
