I don't think that this is possible. The problem would be in getting the UTL_SMTP.DATA procedure to mimic the normal encodeing SMTP expects when it recieves an attachment.
I know that if as part of the string sent to UTL_SMTP.DATA you send:
date:
From:
Subject:
To:
with carridge returns at the end of each line then when the email gets delivered these will appear as part of the header rather than the mail body (works for me under NT and outlook). So I assume that if you can mimic what ever keywords SMTP normally receives when it gets an included file you could do it.
However I think that this invloves things linke MIME encoding and would be very difficult to mimic. If you have any luck let me know I'm sure I could make use of it also.
