sending Excel file with query properties by e-mail

Hi all,

A simple question, pls pardon me...
I constructed an Excel file which draws queries from an Access data base.

When I send out this Excel as e-mail attachment, will others be able to read the data drawn from the query
or must one be connected to the Access database to view the results from the query?

Would appreciate some help. Many thanks.
