Sending emails to Subsites? 1

Can you send emails to a share point sub site? If you can once you have them an that library can you move those emails that you have stored on said sub site to another sub site?

You would have to configure incoming emails, and I believe you have to smtp set up on your front end web servers -

Also, once emails are sent to a site, you should be able to put together a workflow (using SharePoint Designer) that would move them to another site.

It allows you to modify and maintain SharePoint sites. You open up the web site, and you can then see different views of your SharePoint sites. You can modify masterpages, create workflows, and do other site maintenance. It really is a feature rich product. If you are a SharePoint administrator, I definately recommend downloading SharePoint Designer and learning how to use it.

Is sharepoint Designer just as easy to use as Sharepoint itself?

It's pretty easy to use. It's quite different than using the SharePoint browser editing tools. It is more of a client software application. There are many different features and you can really get in deep with what can be done.
In my opinion, the best thing to do is download it and play around - that way you can get an idea of what it does and get a feel for how it works.
