Sending email message from dos batch file

If its possible, what is the command line syntax for sending an email message from DOS? We run an Outlook 2000 server for email. What I am trying to do is setup a batch like:

IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 0 'Email dl-Administrator'

Any assistance is appreciated.
