Hi,
I've set up a number of forums in ASP and have the option of enabling mail notification for replies to posts. The problem is, the server doesn't seem to have a mail server (like smtp.servername.com or something). I was wondering if there was any ASP code or other program that could allow me to use the smtp of another mailserver (like my e-mail server or something). I've found some so far, but they all require some sort of Admin access to be integrated with the servers OS!!! I don't think the owner will be too happy, and my hacking skills haven't got me in there yet (those darn firewalls...) ;-) ! So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

(Just so you know - no I didn't really hack them... but it depends how desperate I get...;-))!

Java servlet. If you are not on a 'free site' though, you can expect to have a cgi service.

Handy tips, cheers, but I found out it support CDONTS so that's sorted it for me. Cheers anyway!
