sending email as post to public folders newsgroup

Hello,
I'm running Exchange 2k. I have set up a discussion public folder under the Internet Newsgroup. Instead of posting a message directly to the folder, can I send a post to it via email? What I'm try to accomplish is record all email disscussion to this newsgroup by adding it to a distribution list.

you shuld be able to send an email to

group_name@companyname.com

and it should work fine, i just did it yesterday with Exchange 5.5

But how do I assign a public folder an email address? I want to email to a public folder instead of post.
