I wa wondering if anybody out there knows how to enable the sending and receiving of files with extensions .exe...etc. My exchange will not send any e-mails with an .exe extension after I installed SP 2 for Windows 2000 server. I know there is a fix for this but I dont know where to find it, or what to change. If anyone can assist me, I would really apprecitae it.

If your AV software is low-tech, you can just rename the file to something else and have the user rename once they get it.
It is probably Outlook that is stopping you anyway.

I would agree with GrumpySmurf. (It's Outlook)
But, it's best to train your users to Zip (compress) the files with WinZip, or PKZip first anyway before attaching them to emails.
(And it will solve the .exe extension problem.)

Or instruct your users to remove the extension before sending, and have the recipient rename the file on receipt.
