Sending E-mail via ASP

I know how to send the e-mail, but what I need to know is if there is a limit on the # of addresses you can send the e-mail to when you do it via ASP. I setup a very simple Do until statement that sends the e-mail to every addy in my database.

However when it was sued...the e-mail only ended up going to about 8 or 9 people...

Is this an ASP issue or something restricted by my web host?

if you are using CDONTS, I heard that it has problems handling a high number of users. If you can, go get JMail 4.0. It's free, and there's a mass mailer on there, allowing you to queue the messages, and personalize each mail. Check it out at

If you are using something else, like persits or something, then it may be restricted to your webhost... I'm not really sure. I've only really used JMail.
