Hi. Have an IP500 5.2(15).

We want to send out an 08XX Non-Geo number as a CLI. We have placed the relevant orders on the line to allow this (i know you need to have the number on the line to be able to send it as a cli). So the line provider has allowed the 08XX number to be sent as a CLI. However it does not work.

The reason they are giving is that the IPO is sending digits to the exchange that override the number presentation. They say we should be sending NO digits out.

As far as I can see, the IPO will always send something out. We have tried leaving the ? shortcode as default, we have tried the .s shortcode with the 08XX as the presentation number, we have tried .w to withhold, but even this is sending digits.

Is there a way of making the IP send nothing so that the exchange will present the 08XX??

In Shortcode or ARS add an s08xxxxxxxxxx in the telephone number;

9N
Ns08xxxxxxxxx
Dial
Line Group ID

or

?
.s08xxxxxxxxx
Dial
Line Group ID

To withhold numbers it is as follows:

9N or ?
NW
Dial
Line Gp :)
