Hi All,
Can I Send DDI number as cli rather than main bearer number on ISDN2e in UK even though inbound CLIP is not enabled from service provider? The system is a KXTD 1232 ver 6, which I know will do it.
Regards
Mark

Only if it is on the isdn as number and A number sending is enabled on line providers side

Hi Obt,
Thank you for the reply. It will be a number on the isdn as the client has just ordered a block of 10 x ddi. They just had the bearer up until now. I have not heard of A number sending before. All I know is I have had some clients where it has worked and some where it hasn’t even though the phone system is capable of it. So should I get the client to check their line provider has A number sending enabled?
Regards
Mark

It might work straight away as here EIR will have it enabled by default but Vodafone may not

The format of clip may vary. From last 4 digits to full numbers without the 0. Might have to try a few combinations
