Hello All,

I am creating an applicataion that will authenticate the user against access 2k database. The database also holds as I call them 'rights' of that particular user. I created the login form set it to be default loading app. Then I would like to 'hide' login app and 'send' dataset to other form.
Should I create a public function and using its functionality return value as dataset?
I am a newbie and I am lost (duh) :)

Thank you

somewhere in this mess is a best practices for .net according to MS. but as far as i know you don't really want to pass data sets around. but i'm not really sure why. the framework sends everything as xml (although the dataset is in xml), but i just pass everything as xml.

cheers.
