sending data to a printer prot

My requirement is thet I have to give the print command at my machine and get the data printed at the remote site in some other city through. Through whuch printer port should I transfer the data. Or what are the various considerations i need to keep in mind

How are you connecting to the remote site?

VPN, Terminal Services, something like PC Anywhere?
