Sending Conditions to Where Clause 1

All of a sudden crystal reports stops sending SQL Conditions to the where clause and no matter how simple of a condition you set up it does not send it to the database. As a result, Crstal retrives all the records first and then applies the conditions. This is causing the performance to go down.

Any ideas why crstal does this? I am using Oracle Native driver for Oracle 7.3.4 database.

Dear Packya,

Check to see if in the File Options and/or Report Options
on the database tab:
Perform Grouping on Server is checked and Use Indexes or Server for Speed is checked.

Thanks for the info...that worked. I totally forgot to set it back on....
