Hi guys,

I know this question is not going to be easy for you guys, but here it is. I'm running an Avaya Definity G3R.

I have an assistant that has a phone model 6416D+. Ok...here's the issue. When someone calls her at ext. 1653, it rings at her phone...no problem there. When someone calls her boss at ext. 1663, it rings at his desk and her phone. No problem there also. It's programmed that way. Now, when the assistant goes to lunch, she hits the call forward button and manually dial her cell number and it will forward HER calls to her cell phone. No problem there. However, she wants her boss' incoming calls to ring at her cell phone also when she hits the call forward button to go to her cell phone. It is not. Only her calls are being forwarded and not her boss (that ring also to her phone).

How would I go about doing that so that her boss' calls also route to her cell phone?

Hope all make sense.

Thanks.

You give her console permissions on the COR form for her station and then she can call forward away. She would use the call forward access codes (#8) or whatever your are the number she wants to call forward 1234 and the number she wants to send those calls to (her cell). When she comes back she dials in the deactivation codes and his extension.

Something that may be even easier would be to give them both a remote coverage path that could be actived by hitting SAC?? Just a thought.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
