Sending attachments via Exchange

For the past few weeks, all attachments sent out via Exchange get corrupted. At the top of the attachment is a whole load of code (about 2k) including IPM.Microsoft Mail.note

This affects the whole company and is not limited to just some clients. I have stopped and restarted the Exchange services, reapplied SP3 and rebooted. Still nothing.

Have you checked out SR4? I am sitting here staring at the server wondering whether or not to attempt the upgrade tonight. you have to download it in parts and extract to a single folder then install.

Yup. Put SP4 (core) and SP4 (IMC) but it didn't make a bit of difference to my problem. Seems to work though...
