Hi,

I would like to add a button to a excel workbook which when clicked, opens Lotus notes and sends the workbook as an attachment to an address which is detailed in cell A15.

Can anybody help

See this thread:
thread707-262418
will need to be adapted to pick up cell A15 but should be pretty obvious Rgds

Cheers xlblo, this works like a dream, one small problem.

I keep getting a 'Rich Text Item attachment already exist" error when i get to the
MailDoc.CREATERICHTEXTITEM("Attachment")

line of your code.

Have tried commenting this out and the routine seems to work fine then, any ideas what this problem might be?

Sorry - don't really know - I nicked the code from somewhere else myself and it works on our system. If it works for you without that line then I would suggest that dogs are best left asleep ;-) Rgds

Cool,

Have just one more minor problem which you may be able to help with. This program works fine on my computer but falls down on my bosses, it highlights the first occurance of the word 'recipiant' and says it is not in the object library, is this actually an object anyway? Any suggestions

Please post the line of code it falls down on Rgds

Try having
Dim recipient as string
before the
recipient =
line
