sending an error message automatically using groupwise

I want to take a error message from a program (example foxpro, access and cature the error and send it automatically through groupwise to s e-mail adress. Can it be done. I would be using a novell network to do this so hopefully the thought is to somehow use novell to capture therror and activate groupwise and send the message. AM lost on if groupwise can do it

If you use Groupwise 5.5 with service pack 3 as a minimum.

With this on a windows pc you should be able to create a MAPI sendmail command. This will activate groupwise and send an email. Unfortunately I'm no programmer so don't know the syntax but know it can be done and it works as a number of my customers have this configured.

Maybe someone else can give you MAPI info.
