Can I send a Major Alarm warning to an off site location?
I have an Avaya Definity G3r at one site and a G3si at another. I would like the alarm from the G3r to be sent to a telephone on the G3si.
Why you may ask?! Because that is where our Operations department is and they would be more responsible than our other team. That sounds bad too, but the security team has better things to do apparently.
...So, can I do it, or will that not work?

If you are talking about putting alarm lamps on phones the answer is no. As a suggestion, you can use ASA to poll switches for alarms and out-of service trunks and send you an e-mail. You can configure ASA to poll as frequently as you want.

You could do this with an IP phone. But setting up ASA to send emails to your blackberry is the best option. You will catch everything day or night.
