Sending a text to the windows cursor

I have an application that receives the weight from a balance connected to serila port.

I would like to send this value that currently is in a text box to the windows cursor, for exemplo, if the notepad is in the screen, i need to "paste" this value to the notepad, if an excel spread sheet is in the screen, i need to "paste" this value from the app to the excel, etc.

Can you have your application put the value of the weight to the Clipboard?

This way you can simply Ctrl-V into any other application

Yes, in fact I am considering this as a workaround.

I prefer my application just writing the value as a barcode scanner does, just writing as a keyboard.
