Sending 2 base extensions to the same phone

They are wanting to assign 2 people with 2 seperate base extension numbers, to the same phone and I don't have a recipe for doing this. Can someone help me with this?

No, but I think you are better off looking under Hunt Groups.

You can't, but one user could set follow me up, it will show who the call is for but outgoing would be against one user, or you could use a group. They need to stop being tight and buy another phone/add more extn's really :)

You can do coverage appearance or bridged appearances. You could even set both Users up to Hotdesk and give each one a coverage appearance for the other.

If you can do this and make them happy with it the sticking point will be lighting the meesage waiting light. VM to email would help there.

They will also complain about the "outbound caller ID" for internal calls. Last I checked bridged appearances won't ring if the actual extension is not logged in. You may need to add both bridged and coverage appearances so they can make and receive calls from the not logged in extension.

Or you can do like Hairlessupportmonkey said and just make the second "extension" a Hunt Group and tell them "That's the way it works" for every other complaint they have.
 
Internal Twinning?

Avaya Manager > User > Mobility > Select one of the other users.

Now the have both the same extension number, and ring at the same time, and when one extn is busy the are both busy
