Sending 120MB of data as attachement 1

Is there any program that will enable me send attachemnt of about 120mb data to a friend since when I send it as an attachment,outlook 2003 cant send the data and worse of all, it freezes the application.
I do not want to burn the data on cd and ship but want to send as attachment;any program that can shrink the data to a smaller size.

Use some file sharind service, or something like FTP. I can't think of any built in solution that will allow you to send an attachment that size. This likely isn't an Outlook issue.

I use YouSendIt for files that large. It works great.

Aaaargh!

120 MB are not meant to be sent by mail!
Hell, my private mail box seldom has that much free space left!

If it's a regular thing, you should definitely look for File sharing or FTP.

If it's a one-timer though:
Split the ZIP into several parts. 20 MB is usually the max attachment size, so six or seven parts will do.

E-mail administrators get migraines when users are thinking about sending a file that large via e-mail.

10MB is the default maximum message size limit for most email server solutions. You should keep that in mind. Also note that MIME conversion can cause an attachment to end up 30% bigger. So if you send a 9.5MB attachment, it could end up being over a 10MB limit.
