Hi,

I'm trying to use Unix Mail command. Is there any way I can change the SENDER's name.

Is there any option to change the Sender's name ?

Thanks in Advance

Not entirely sure it's what you're after but you can use the perl module Mail::Sender. It lets you specify a "fake from" address which can be anything you like so long as it's formatted correctly eg me@mypc.com.

Just put the name in front of the email address and put the email address in angle brackets < > like list.

"Full Name" <user@domain>

This is not a mail command feature. It is part of the email protocal. This will work with any email program that doesn't try to modify what you put in the address field.
