Hi,

I have sendmail running on Solaris that interfaces with the corporate mail system. Recently, I have user requesting that the mail sent from their applications to have the sender name in the form of apps-id@abc.com, rather than with their name picked up from the gecos field of the password file (appl-name <apps-id@abc.com>). Is it possible to configure sendmail to have such format?
