send to txt file

I have a session where in commandbar, similar">P" when i put the "P", the command send the output file to a printer session with a host name SBxxxxxx. This command to the default save in c:\myfile\output..txt.
Instaed to send the output to the printer session is possible to capture the output and trafer directlly in a txt file in c:\myfile\out.txt?
