Installed cd-rw drive in friends 4yr old generic computer, to replace burned out cdrom drive. Its running Win98SE, just like my old comp does. I have Adaptec prog -his has Roxio. On my machine I have the option in Explorer to SEND FILE to CDRW drive,when I right click on a file, which I want to add to his computer, but I cannot find any info on how to do that..search function not working here on tektips right now so I couldnt search for this. Thnks

PS what im trying to do is set up his cdrw so he can use it for backups, but at the moment it doesnt seem towant to write to cd

The "right click - send to" option will be software controlled, if he was using the same CDR software you are he would most likely gain the feature.
