Send To Mail Recipient Stuck In Outbox

Strange problem for me and another user. When ever a file (any file) is right clicked and "Send To Mail Recipient" is selected the email gets stuck in the outbox. It is italicized and will send if I double click it and click send from the outbox. Up until recently everything worked fine. I have searched high and low and can't come up with anything. We are using Office XP SP3, XPP SP2 and Excahnge 2000.

I would try recreating the .pst and then test again. If still nothing check out this link to see if helps...

All the mail is stored on the exchange server, so we are not using .pst files. It tried the kb fix, but it did not work.

Try using the fixmapi tool included with Outlook. This sounds like a MAPI problem.

Fixmapi did not work and I also tried detect and repair to no avail.
