I am running Win 2K SP4 and MS Office 2000 I tried to send a word document as an attachment using File>send to>Mail reciepient (as attachment) and a wizard window pops up prompting me for "what is name would you like to send this email with?" then asks me for POP info etc. Please help..

Sounds like the default email is not what you're using. Go to Tools-Internet options IN INTERNET EXPLORER.

Hit the Programs tab and make sure that your email is the one you're actually using.

I looked and MS Outlook is setup as default for mail Outlook runs great in itself with the exception of my other post but only gets hairy when trying to send a document as an attachment using the method previously described out of a MS Office application.

No not in excell either, I tried to use the detect and repair and it blew away my profile and I had to reinstall MS Office...I haven't tried it again but I was wondering what caused MS Word to prompt for what it did...I guess the registry got corrupt somehow?
