Hi Guys, I have several apps that send a .txt file directly to a local port ie comm1.(Thermal label printers) This works well
but I now have a requiremnet to send the same file to a printserver. It doesnt matter what I try I cant seem to get this to work. Another strnge occurence is the printers port name according to the Driver is IP_10.1.1.5, but in VB the port name is returned as Ne02: any ideas??

If you love your job you never have to work again.

Is it possible for you to set up a printer in Windows mapped to this port? If you can, then you can use the Printers collection in VB to send print jobs.

I used to rock and roll every night and party every day. Then it was every other day. Now I'm lucky if I can find 30 minutes a week in which to get funky. - Homer Simpson
