What does html have to do with this? Do you mean the menu actually sends the user on another html page, where the menu would be repeated?

yes the menu is on a web page with links to various pages on the site

But are the various pages on different htmls and is the menu embedded in each one of them?

Furthermore, is this menu linear on the timeline or is it actionscripted?

Ok! I've seen it! Only question left to be answered is the one about the navigation menu itself... Is a linear timeline menu or actionscripted?
Can you post a link to a zipped up .fla in a MX only format?

the menu is scripted using AS2 but it sends sections to labeled frames thats what I want the html to send the flash movie to also

thanks

Post a link to a zipped up .fla in a MX only format, using AS1.0 actionscript...

You would have to save a copy of your MX2004 .fla, (using Save as...) and changing the Document type to MX only in the Save as... window.
