Send/Recieve failure with Offline Address Book 1

We recently started getting an error when our users use Send/Recieve to download the OAB from our Exchange 2000 server. We get a message in Outlook that states that the MS Exchange Server reported error(0x80070057): 'Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.'

There is also a Synchronization Log in the Deleted Items folders that reiterates the same message:

15:37:21 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
15:37:21 0X80070057

Although we have not made any changes to our Exchange environment, I checked our mailstores properties to ensure that we did have "Default Offline Address List" in the Offline address list field.

Has anyone with similiar errors fixed this problem? Thanks in advance.

I know this was a while ago... but did you ever find a solution. I'm having the same issue.
