I need to send the password expiration date to Baan users with the Baan command.... bshcmd6.1 -M "message" -w1 -u1 <bshell PID> This command starts a shell and sends it via a terminal session to PC users when they login. I have looked at the "epoch date" conversion in the forum but not quit what I want. I need to look for the user in the /etc/security/passwd file find the "lastupdate" for the user. Convert the epoch date.. look in /etc/security/user for maxage, pwdwarntime, calculate then send the message out. Anyone have a script that does this already? OR have a simpler way? I'm not a perl programmer.... not a big scriptwriter either. no time... Thanks!!!!
