I have a problem regarding microsoft outlook in general.

Scenario is as follow :
Person 1 sends a meeting request on behalf of manager 1.
Person 2 accepts the meeting on behalf of manager 2.

The read receipt as well as the delivery receipt gets delivered to manager 1 and not Person1. Why does this happen?

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks

Because the message is being sent from Manager 1's account. You can alter that and have all responses sent to Person 1 and that should include delivery and read receipts. Open new message select Options -> Options and Have replies sent to.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

In analogy, if Person 1 pays a bill for an object Manager 1 purchased, then Manager 1 is still the owner of that object, not Person 1.

Same with mail objects.
