Does anyone know of a script that would send a email adress and a name to my mail off my web site without a redirect

Like a join a mail list script bt i have no idea how to install a cgi script so i would like to do it this way instead

I use a script now but it has a redirect line in it I removed the line for the redirect but it still defaults to a error page

I don't understand what you want. You want a script but not a cgi script? How about php?

As long as i do not have to use the cgi bin as thatis where the problem is i do not know how to configure the script or the permissions on the web site ]]

Can you recommend a script in php

Php is a good way to go if you don't have access to a cgi-bin. These will work in your html directory. I don't know of a script off the top of my head but a good place to look is

If you don't find anything there, you might try

http://www.cgi-resources.com

then check out the apache forum here at tek-tips for help on getting your cgi-bin to work.
