Send Failure: 550 relay not permitted

Hello again,

Why might I be getting this error on the GWIA when a user is trying to send an email?
This error also manifests itself in a little red question mark by the envelope icon in the sent items box.

I am running GW 6.5.4 on Novell 6.5
