Hello,

I want to send email with HTML content. But I know, in some cases, recipients will see the HTML tags instead of the display.

Is there any way from my end, as a sender, to avoid this problem? Or does it entirely depend on the recipient, how she sets her email up?

If it matters, I'm using mail() function to send emails.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Andre

You will need to use multi-part mail. The best class to use for this is PHPMailer, available at
You could try to write it yourself, but there is no need to reinvent the wheel.

There should be a part of the mail for HTML and a plain text alternative part. That would cover both HTML an non HTML enabled readers.
